We hope this morning finds you all well.  By the looks of these pictures, you can tell Eric is keeping a full schedule.  Walking unassisted, core training, Mexican dominoes, and even a shave and a shower.  With each passing day goals are set, a plan is executed and accomplishments are achieved.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

Each time a person drops by, Eric's face lights up with that sweet endearing smile we have all grown accustomed to over the years.  To see that the injury did not rob him of his gentle nature is touching and awe-inspiring.  It speaks to the persevering spirit of Eric.

Eric is surrounded by close friends and family during the day while his brothers and sisters in the fire service continue to watch over him in the evenings.  This provides Eric much needed reassurance and allows him to get some solid rest.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Your continued support has really made a significant difference in his healing.

Through all of the ups and downs I know how lucky I am to have my own support system. With the support these women give me, I am able to be a great wife and mother. Thank youAlicia
Good morning:

Eric is really enjoying all the time he is spending with his family.

Today was ladies day. He spent time with his cousins Kristin and Colleen. His mother in law Stephanie continues to be there, supporting Eric and Alicia.
His therapy schedule is becoming longer and more intense as he enters his second week of rehab. He continues to impress all the staff with his incredible gains.

Thank you to Firehouse subs and all who attended the fundraiser. We are truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.
