***Update 01/06/15 2200 hours***

Eric is having some trouble controlling his body temperature which is causing him to shiver.  This will cause the Intracranial Pressure (ICP) to increase.  To combat this, he has been placed on a paralytic medication.  Earlier today Eric had a drain placed in his skull to allow drainage of blood.  Fortunately there has been no blood coming from this drain as of late.  This is a very positive development.

There has been an outpouring of support, kind words and love from hundreds of friends and family.  It reminds us that Eric has touched so many of our lives with his kindness and warmth.  Please continue to think of him tonight and give your loved ones an extra hug and kiss before bed.
